Last night at sea
Sleeping on the balcony to get every last breath of sea air.
La Spezia
Docked in La Spezia. Took a boat to Portovenere. Then to Riomaggiore. Notice how small the boat is in the lower right. Rocky beaches. Not certain how these people get to their houses.
Sea day
Relaxing day at sea. Spa treatments. Drinks with friends we made on board. Then 10 of us got together for steaks at the Lawn Club. Perfect day.

Ajaccio, Corsica. The birthplace of Napoleon. Loved this painting of Lucien Bonaparte and his wife Christine. There’s a sister painting of Christine alone that’s basically a detailed section of the previous painting. I’ve never seen marble carving like this. I … Continue reading
