First time on Alitalia. A beautiful two hour flight.
Flight to Rome
Last day in London
Went to Sir John Soane’s house. We originally toured it 20 years ago when Merkes found the collections very inspirational. No photography allowed. In the late afternoon walked around the Chelsea neighbor where we stayed.

Home of the Cutty Sark. Now a museum.

Covent Garden
Monday morning in London and we were up bright and early to hit the antique market at Covent Garden.
We randomly found out Balthazar opened a cafe and restaurant in London. Same owners as New York.
Hampton Court
Out at Hampton Court Palace today. Home to Henry VIII and William III.

Dinner at The Albion pub in East Molesey and now back to London.
The Wallace Collection
The last time we were at this house was over 20 years ago. We’ve always recommended it to people visiting London. Inside is the art collection of one family, collected over five generations.
Detail of the column above.
This Camille Roqueplan painting is titled The Lion in Love. I would have called it The Manicurist.
